Share your expertise with Civic Leadership interns

Do you have deep skills & experience in your field and a desire to support to youth as they work to bolster civic participation in Durham? Kids Voting Durham is seeking adult experts in the fields of graphic design, technology, education, and communications/media/video to work as adult allies with the our summer Youth Civic Leadership team. Adult ally experts will advise and counsel youth as they create the KVD Election Guide for the mid term election and other civic education and outreach materials and programs. At a minimum, interested individuals must be willing to attend a 45 minute training prior to the beginning of their work in June; be available to consult with youth teams in their area for at least 1 hour/week from the week of June 20 through July 30; and be available for as needed consultations in August and September at materials are finalized.
