Join Kids Voting at the Pearsontown Elementary precinct on Election Day where youth under 18 can cast a vote with a celebrity volunteer from Durham’s County Commissioners, Mayor & City Council, and School Board! Cast your vote in the midterms and learn more about our local government and the people who run it! Guest volunteers will include County Commissioners Chair Brenda Howerton, Mayor Elaine O’Neal, City Council Member Javiera Caballero, County Commissioners Nimasheena Burns, Heidi Carter, & Wendy Jacobs, and School Board members Emily Chavez, Natalie Beyer, Jovonia Lewis, and Alexandra Valladares.
