Item description
Voting & the Kids Voting Ballot
-
Kids Voting Durham allows kids to vote on the same candidates and issues as adults in EVERY Election. In even years, that’s the School Board Election in the Spring and the Mid-Term or Presidential Election in the Fall. In odd years, like adult, kids vote for the Durham City Council in the Fall.
Kids Voting does not hold or participate in primary or run-off elections.
-
Any youth under 18 can vote in Kids Voting Durham elections. Our election guides and lessons are created for grades PreK-12.
-
Write-in candidate laws are confusing even for adults!
